Welcome
You've gotten really good at saying “I'm fine” when you are, in fact, very much not fine.

Welcome to Jess Chant Counselling

You may be used to being the person who holds everything together, even when things feel anything but manageable on the inside. Maybe past experiences continue to affect you in ways you didn't expect, relationships feel complicated, or you find yourself stuck in patterns of thinking and behaving that you want to change. Your emotions seem to go from 0 to 100 really quickly.

Whatever brought you here, we can start there. You don't need to have everything figured out before coming to therapy.

I work with individuals ages 16+ and specialize in supporting people experiencing:

  • PTSD & trauma
  • Borderline personality disorder (BPD)
  • Bipolar disorder
  • Impacts of sexual assault & trauma

My approach is person-centred and trauma-informed, which means therapy is tailored to you rather than expecting you to fit into a predetermined treatment plan.

Is this for you?

Does any of this sound familiar?

You hold everything together

You're the steady one for everyone else, even when things feel anything but manageable on the inside.

The past keeps showing up

Past experiences continue to affect you in ways you didn't expect, long after you thought you'd moved on.

Relationships feel complicated

Connecting with the people you care about can feel confusing, draining, or hard to trust.

You feel stuck in old patterns

You notice the same patterns of thinking and behaving again and again, and you want something to change.

Your emotions go from 0 to 100

Feelings arrive fast and big, and it's hard to find your footing once they do.

“I'm fine” is on repeat

You've gotten really good at saying you're fine when you are, in fact, very much not fine.

Whatever brought you here, we can start there.
